Resilience Personal Training celebrating 3 years of business!

I am very happy to say that our doors have been open 3 years! During this time I have gotten to see many personal transformations take place. Together we have pushed ourselves beyond what we thought was possible: shed 100’s of pounds of fat, set numerous personal records, created lasting nutrition and lifestyle habits, played silly games, laughed, smiled, and even cried at times. Our clients can attest that it is not always easy to make the right choices but that’s what being Resilient is all about. There are going to be set backs in life, but with the right mindset, tenacity, and support system you will be able to jump right back to where you need to be. I’ve definitely made my fair share of mistakes, but I continue to learn from them, and in result, the business has continued to grow. I want to extend a big thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way; it has been a real pleasure serving this awesome community! As a token of my appreciation I would like to offer $300 off any 2-3 day a week personal training package or $100 off any unlimited group fitness package for the first person who claims it!

All the best,

Kevin Long

People are filled with good intentions.  People want to be healthy, get fit, and consistently knock shit off of the to-do list.  Unfortunately these things do not happen magically.  Recently I read an article written by fitness trainer/lifestyle coach/all around inspiring dude, Craig Ballantyne, about the 5 characteristics that he found that all successful people in his body transformation contests had in common.   Through my experiences as a trainer and nutrition coach I have also found that these “Pillars of Success” are absolutely critical for getting shit done!
  1. Planning and Preparation (have a game plan)
  2. Professional Accountability (coach)
  3. Social Support (cheer leaders)
  4. Meaningful Incentive (what is your “why” and what does that mean to you)
  5. Deadline for your action (commit to a completion time)

Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself.  Hire a coach to set you on the right course and surround yourself with inspiring people.  I recently hired a business coach, and it has been one of the best investments I have ever made.  If you would like to learn more about how we help people GET SHIT DONE, click on the link below and lets get started on your journey!

Josh is a guy with a great attitude who has been very consistent with his workouts and has been getting stronger and stronger.  He recently competed in the Run To Surf relay with members of the studio and absolutely crushed the obstacle course (while wearing a dreadlock wig and beanie).  If there had been a best costume award our team the Run-So-Farians would have totally taken the cake.  Keep up the good work Josh, Kaizen!
